Side Street Technology offers competitive pricing for your laptops, handhelds, and other small computer equipment. Pricing is based on the model, hardware specifications, condition of the unit, and demand for the unit.
Obtaining a Quote
We offer two options for providing quotes:
Option 1: Before Shipping Quote
To obtain a quote for your units, the following information should be provided:
1) Number of units
2) Hardware specifications
Model Number
Processor Speed
RAM size
Hard Drive size
Optical Drive Type
OS Type (Win 98, Win XP, Win 2K)
OS COA sticker on bottom (Y/N)
3) Condition of units (operational, partially operational, parts, recyclable)
Option 2: After Shipping Quote
For the professional that is too busy to assess and clean units, Side Street Technology will assess the units upon delivery to our location and then provide pricing.
Shipping
Side Street Technology assumes shipping cost. Shipping methods include standard freight carriers for smaller lots (FedEx Ground) and private carriers for larger lots.
Shipping costs are not provided for batches of units that fall into the recycle category.
Payment Terms
Upon receipt of the units, each unit is inspected for physical damage and assessed if it meets agreed upon specifications and condition.
Payment terms are determined based on condition and model of the units. Payment terms include one or a combination of the following - payment upon receipt and certification, a pre-shipping good faith payment, Net 30, and Net 45, and payment upon selling of the unit (consignment).
Data Cleansing: Intellectual Capital and Sensitive Data
Side Street Technology will work with you to ensure intellectual capital and sensitive data is removed from harddrives. Options include a re-install of the OS, one-pass disk wipe, and multi-pass DOD compliant disk wipe.
Reporting
Side Street Technology will work with you to provide information required for accountability and reporting.
